The University of Florida will not fire football coach Will Muschamp after a losing 2013 campaign, according to Edgar Thompson and Mike Bianchi of the Orlando Sentinel.

A new report says Muschamp will be allowed a chance to coach the team next season, but that "significant changes to Muschamp's coaching staff are expected after Saturday's season finale."

Earlier this month, Florida athletic director Jeremy Foley  told the media that he was "1000 percent" confident that Will Muschamp was the right man for the head coaching job in Gainesville.

RICKMAN: Sad pandas, the Weather Channel and other odds and ends from Week 13 Muschamp's Gators saw their losing streak extended to six games yesterday at the hands of Georgia Southern, the school's first-ever loss to a non-FBS school.
