Alabama State junior running back Isaiah Crowell will enter the 2014 NFL Draft, his head coach Reggie Barlow said Thursday.

"We've talked about it," Barlow said, according to AL.com's Nick Birdsong.

"Honestly, when he came here that was one of the things that we talked about when he arrived that he would be here two years and that would be his goal. Throughout the season, we haven't had much talk about it but we have confirmed that that's what he's gonna do as of right now."

Crowell transferred to Alabama State after running into legal troubles during a short stint with Georgia. He was dismissed by head coach Mark Richt prior to the 2012 season after being arrested on three charges, including two weapons-related felonies.

Crowell transferred to FCS Alabama State, allowing him to continue to play immediately rather than sit out a year. In 12 games this season, he has rushed for 1,126 yards on 170 carries. He has 15 touchdowns.
