There will be life at Texas A&M after Johnny Football for head coach Kevin Sumlin.

The 49-year-old Sumlin agreed to a six-year deal to stay at the helm of the Aggies, Texas A&M athletic director Eric Hyman announced on Saturday. The No. 19 Aggies (8-3) visit No. 5 Missouri on Saturday night, still with an outside chance at a BCS bowl.

Sumlin is 19-5 in two seasons with Texas A&M — including a win over No. 1 Alabama in Tuscaloosa and No. 11 Oklahoma in last year's Cotton Bowl — after going 35-17 in four seasons at the University of Houston. He was rumored to be in the mix for the USC job and some NFL jobs that may become vacant in the offseason.

Johnny Manziel could leave school and enter the NFL draft after the season, which would signal the dawn of a new era in College Station.
