Paul Pierce will miss 2-4 weeks with a fracture in his right hand

Paul Pierce will be out two to four weeks with a fracture in the middle finger of his shooting hand.

The Brooklyn Nets announced the injury, which occurred in the first half of the teams 114-95 loss to the Houston Rockets on Friday night. Pierce did not play in the team's game against the Memphis Grizzlies the following night.

Pierce has averaged 12.4 points per game in his first season with Brooklyn.
