The Tampa Bay Rays have acquired closer Heath Bell in a three-team trade with the Arizona Diamondbacks and the Cincinnati Reds, reports Ken Rosenthal of Fox Sports

The deal will send Bell and catcher Ryan Hanigan to the Rays along with cash considerations, while the Diamondbacks will receive pitcher Justin Choate and a player to be named later. Cincinnati will get lefty pitcher David Holmberg.

Bell had 15 saves in 69 appearances for the Diamondbacks last year, his lowest save total since taking on the role for the Padres in 2008.
