Pacers forward Danny Granger is hoping to make his return to the court on Friday when the team takes on the Charlotte Bobcats, according to Marc J. Spears of Yahoo! Sports.

Granger has yet to play this season with a strained calf muscle, and he missed all but 5 games in the previous season with a knee injury, but the former All-Star says those issues are behind him and he only needs to improve his conditioning before returning to the court.

"There is a very good chance [of a Friday return]," Granger said after shootaround Tuesday. "I'm working on it every day. I'll play [in practice] tomorrow and practice the next day. Hopefully, it will be Friday.
