Thad Lewis helped the Bills beat the Dolphins back in October, and now he has an opportunity to do it again. Starting quarterback E.J. Manuel will be out Week 16 with a knee injury, and backup Lewis will start in his place.

Manuel sprained his left knee last week, but Bills coach Doug Marrone told Tim Graham of the Buffalo News on Monday that Manuel "should be OK." Now, it looks like the knee sprain will be enough to keep Manuel out at least for the week.

It's the third knee injury of Manuel's rookie season -- he missed the preseason after surgery on his knee, then missed several weeks this season after injuring his right knee.

However, Manuel didn't miss any snaps last week when he sprained his knee, and Marrone expressed confidence that Manuel would be able to return for the regular season finale.
