Vikings RB Adrian Peterson said he will be 'ready to roll' for game vs. Bengals

Even though he is listed as questionable on the team's injury report, Minnesota Vikings running back Adrian Peterson said he will be "ready to roll" for Sunday's game against the Cincinnati Bengals.

Peterson did not play in last week's victory against Philadelphia Eagles after he sprained his foot the week before against the Baltimore Ravens.

"I've got another day to rest," Peterson said Friday, via the Minneapolis Star-Tribune. "Tomorrow is going to be good. As far as the foot goes, I'll be ready to roll."

Peterson also said he was upset after being held out of the Eagles game.

"I was hot," he said. "I was devastated. I was looking forward to playing, being out there with the guys, and I didn't get my way that day. I was to a point where I felt like I was ready to go. My mindset is to get out there and play. I'm in game mode, and then I find out I'm not playing, no matter what I have to say."
