Nebraska senior quarterback Taylor Martinez will not play in the Gator Bowl against Georgia due to a foot injury, reports CBSSports.com's Jeremy Fowler.

According to the report, Nebraska head coach Bo Pelini said Friday that Martinez will not be healthy enough to play in the game.

Martinez has not played since the Huskers' 34-23 loss to Minnesota on Oct. 26, when he completed only 16 of his 30 passing attempts and had 16 yards rushing.

He only played in four games this season, completing 62.7 percent of his passes for 667 yards with 10 touchdowns and two interceptions.
