The Cincinnati Reds' GM Walt Jocketty has confirmed that the team has spoken with OF Grady Sizemore about a possible return to baseball with the team, according to CBSSports.com's Mike Axisa.

Jocketty says that the two sides were in contact before the holidays and that he believes Sizemore, who has not played since 2011, is healthy enough to attempt a comeback.

The former Cleveland Indian appeared in only 104 games in 2010 and 2011 combined.
