Boston Celtics guard Keith Bogans has been excused from the team indefinitely for personal reasons, the team announced Tuesday.

The team did not disclose the reason Bogans is away from the team, but did say that Bogans remains under contract with the team during this time.

Bogans, 33, had not played in the past four games with the Celtics and is only averaging two points a game in only six appearance this year.
