The Heat announced that center Greg Oden will dress and be available to play in Wednesday night's game against the Wizards.

Oden, the often injured No. 1 overall pick of the Trail Blazers in 2007,  last played in a regular season game on Dec 5, 2009.

Team president Pat Riley and coach Erik Spoelstra did not say if Oden would be used off the bench against the Wizards.

GOLLIVER: All-Payday Team

The Heat traded center Joel Anthony and acquired  Toney Douglas in a three-team trade earlier Wednesday. The Heat signed Oden in the offseason as a free-agent project. He has been working with Juwan Howard to get into shape and hone his skills. He played four minutes during a preseason game against the Pelicans in November.
