Report: David Price, Rays agree to one-year, $14 million deal

The Tampa Bay Rays and All-Star pitcher David Price agreed to one-year, $14 million contract and avoided arbitration, reports Jon Morosi of FoxSports.com.

Price made $10 million last season. He has been the subject of trade rumors throughout the offseason.

Price, 28, went 10-8 with a 3.33 ERA and 151 strikeouts last season for the Rays, a season after winning the American League Cy Young award.
