Former New England Patriots tight end Aaron Hernandez, who is in jail awaiting trial on first-degree murder and weapons charges, won't be allowed watch the AFC championship game against the Denver Broncos, reports the Associated Press.

Bristol County Sheriff Thomas Hodgson told the AP that Hernandez isn't allowed to watch television.

Hernandez has been in jail since late June, accused of shooting 27-year-old Odin Lloyd, who had been dating the sister of Hernandez's girlfriend.

Authorities are also investigating if Hernandez has any involvement in a 2012 double murder.
