San Francisco 49ers linebacker NaVorro Bowman has a torn anterior cruciate ligament and medial collateral ligament in his left knee but is expected to be ready for the 2014 season, reports ProFootballTalk.com.

Bowman was injured and taken off the field on a cart in the fourth quarter of the 49ers' 23-17 loss to the Seattle Seahawks in the NFC Championship. He had 14 tackles and one sack before leaving with the injury.

On a third down near San Francisco's goal line, Bowman appeared to have recovered a fumble while simultaneously injuring his knee. The officials, however, ruled Seahawks running back Marshawn Lynch ended up with the ball. Lynch fumbled on the next play.

Bowman was named a first-team All-Pro this season after recording 145 total tackles, five sacks, four forced fumbles and two interceptions.
