San Francisco 49ers running back Frank Gore will undergo minor surgery after injuring a finger on his right hand in the team's 23-17 loss to the Seattle Seahawks in the NFC Championship, reports Matt Maiocco of Comcast SportsNet Bay Area.

It is unclear when Gore was injured, but he was mostly ineffective in the game, rushing for only 14 yards on 11 carries and catching one pass for 17 yards. 49ers head coach Jim Harbaugh said Gore broke his right ring finger during the game.
