The Indiana Pacers have signed former Cleveland Cavaliers C Andrew Bynum, the team announced.
Bynum was traded to the Bulls by the Cavs in exchange for forward Luol Deng earlier this season and then immediately waived by Chicago. He has since cleared the waiver wire and drawn interest from multiple teams including the Miami Heat.
The former All-Star missed all of the 2012-13 season due to arthritis in his knees, but was able to play in 24 games for Cleveland this season, averaging 20 minutes a game.
