Los Angeles Lakers center Pau Gasol will be out for a "couple of weeks" with a groin strain, Lakers head coach Mike D'Antoni said Tuesday, via the Los Angeles Times.
Gasol, 33, will be evaluated again near the All-Star break, D'Antoni said. He aggravated the injury in a loss to the Charlotte Bobcats last week.
Gasol averaged 20.8 points and 11.9 rebounds last month and was originally supposed to miss three games with the injury. He revealed that he had platelet-rich plasma therapy recently to help him heal quicker.
