Shaun White has had a tumultuous path leading up to the Winter Olympics, and that continued on Tuesday.

White jammed his left wrist after a fall on the Olympic slopestyle course, according to the Associated Press. He's not expected to miss any time with the injury.

The course at Rosa Khutor Extreme Park also got the best of Norway's Torstein Horgmo, one of the favorites at the Games, who broke his collarbone riding through the rails on Monday.

"A little intimidating," White called the course after Tuesday's training. "It's been a challenge."

Finland's Marika Enne also fell and hit her head on Tuesday. She was taken off on a stretcher after suffering a concussion.

"It's frustrating to see it," White said of the injuries. "It puts a damper on the whole mood, and it's kind of like you're getting ready to do a big trick and you see something like that. Intimidating. Unfortunate. I'm hoping the builders can make some changes and the course has a little more of a friendly vibe. But I can't change the course. Just doing the best I can."

This will be the inaugural slopestyle event at the Olympics. Qualifying begins on Thursday, one day before the opening ceremony. The halfpipe is on Feb. 11.
