Milwaukee Bucks rookie forward Giannis Antetokounmpo has become something of a cult phenomenon this season, wowing NBA fans with his long arms and startling displays of athleticism. The NBA is capitalizing on the appeal of the 'Greek Freak' by showcasing him in the Skills Challenge competition at All-Star Weekend in New Orleans, according to Adrian Wojnarowski of Yahoo! Sports.
Antetokounmpo, the 15th pick in last year's draft, has flashed limitless potential and earned a starting spot for the hapless Bucks. He has started 21 of the team's 44 games, and is averaging 7.2 points, 4.5 rebounds and 1.8 assists per contest. Antetokounmpo will become the seventh rookie to compete in the Skills Challenge, following in the footsteps of Chris Paul, Derrick Rose, John Wall, Brandon Jennings, Kyrie Irving and Damian Lillard.
