Tampa Bay Lightning right winger Martin St. Louis was named to the Canadian men's hockey team, replacing injured teammate Steven Stamkos, Team Canada announced Thursday.

Stamkos broke his leg Nov. 11 and had a CT scan done on his leg Wednesday afternoon. Doctors said that the leg had not healed enough for him to play in the Olympics. The Lightning said he will be re-evaluated in the next two to three weeks.

St. Louis has 25 goals and 29 assists in 56 games this season for the Lightning. He won the Art Ross Trophy last season, leading the NHL in scoring.
