Los Angeles Lakers point guard Steve Nash left the team's game against the Chicago Bulls in the third quarter with 'nerve irritation' after taking contact on his left leg, which was fractured last season, reports Dave McMenamin of ESPN Los Angeles.

Nash was playing in his third game back with the team since being sidelined in November due to pain in his left leg, which he had fractured early in the 2012-13 season. The team announced that Nash would have the leg looked at by team doctors on Monday, and that his early exit was simply a precautionary measure.
