Cleveland Browns CEO Joe Banner and general manager Michael Lombardi reportedly are out in a shakeup of the team's front office. Vic Carucci of Cleveland Browns Daily reports Ray Farmer has been promoted to GM. Mike Garafolo of Fox Sports confirmed the moves. The team confirmed Farmer's promotion via Twitter.

ESPN's Adam Schefter reported via Twitter that Banner will transition out of the CEO job in the coming months.

Banner became the team's CEO in late October 2012 after working as senior vice president of the Philadelphia Eagles.

Lombardi was hired by the Browns in January 2013 after working as an NFL Network analyst. His resume also included several NFL front-office jobs, including at Cleveland.

The Browns' firing of head coach Rob Chudzinski after one season raised questions from Browns fans and national media as to the team's front-office direction in December.
