Minnesota Timberwolves guard Kevin Martin will miss two to three weeks with a broken thumb on his non-shooting hand, according to Sam Amick of USA Today.

Martin injured the thumb in the team's loss to the New Orleans Pelicans on Friday. He had it evaluated by a hand specialist, who indicated the break would take a few weeks to heal.

The 10-year veteran is averaging 19 points in 32.3 minutes per game in his first season in Minnesota.
