Cowboys win coin flip against Ravens for No. 16 pick in draft

After three straight 8-8 seasons, every game seems like a coin flip for the Cowboys. This time, Dallas came out on top.
Because the Cowboys and Ravens both finished 8-8 and had a .484 strength of schedule, a coin flip was needed to separate their draft positioning, which Dallas won Wednesday morning in Indianapolis — the site of this weekend's scouting combine — according to Kevin Patra of NFL.com.
The Cowboys will pick 16th in the first round, and the Ravens will select 17th.
The coin did not have a heads or a tails — each side had a team logo — thus neither team made a call before the toss, according to Patra.
This is the third time in four seasons that the Cowboys will enter the draft with a pick in the top half of the first round, according to ESPN.com's Jamison Hensley.
