Mike D'Antoni calls Pau Gasol's comments about discipline 'disturbing'
Pau Gasol thinks the Los Angeles Lakers are lacking in discipline this season due to a roster filled with expiring contracts (10 of their 15 players) that has put together the worst record in the Western Conference.
After the Lakers were blown out by the Indiana Pacers 118-98 on Tuesday, Gasol said he isn't a big fan of the how the team has been playing lately.
"Probably. That's part of it," Gasol said to the Los Angeles Times. "But that's why you have to be disciplined and implement discipline. That's how you kind of make that better or make that not a factor. I don't think there's a lot of discipline right now."
Lakers head coach Mike D'Antoni said Gasol's comments were "disturbing" and a "product of being frustrated and losing" and also said whatever issues the team has should be kept in-house.THOMSEN: Mailbag: Collins media frenzy, Westbrook's return, more
