Florida and Florida State will extend their annual series until at least the 2018 season, the University of Florida announced Thursday.

Next season's game will be played in Tallahassee, as will the games in 2016 and 2018. The 2015 and 2017 games will be played in Gainesville. The current contract was set to expire after the 2014 season.

The schools first met on the gridiron in 1958 and have played 58 times, with the Gators leading the all-time series 34-22-2.
