Since the Detroit Lions cut Louis Delmas to clear up cap space earlier this month, the 26-year-old safety has been exploring his options in free agency.

Delmas visited with the Pittsburgh Steelers last week, and has drawn interest from the Denver Broncos. His latest visit was to New Orleans to meet with the Saints, reports Pro Football Talk.

In 2013, Delmas recorded 49 tackles, two sacks and three interceptions in his fifth season in the NFL, all with the Lions. New Orleans has a need at safety, having already released Roman Harper, and the team is reportedly considering letting Malcolm Jenkins walk as well. If Jenkins departs, Delmas could line up next to safety Kenny Vaccaro, a rookie in 2013 who impressed in the defensive backfield.

Because Delmas was released prior to the 2014 league year, he can sign with any team before free agency officially begins on March 11.
