Jared Allen will not return to the Vikings
Defensive end Jared Allen will not be returning to play for the Minnesota Vikings next season, according to Chris Tomasson of the St. Paul Pioneer Press.
Allen has played for the Vikings for the last six seasons after being traded to the team from the Kansas City Chiefs after his first four years in the league.
The four-time first-team All-Pro's agent informed the team that he would be testing free agency for the first time in his career this offseason, and was not interested in playing for Minnesota in 2014.
