After springing the biggest upset of the first round, 14th-seeded Mercer will be without center Monty Brown for its round of 32 game against Tennessee on Sunday because of a concussion, according to Rachel Nichols of Turner Sports.

The 6-foot-11, 250-pound center, who is averaging 5.7 points and 3.7 rebounds per game this season, was injured late in the first half against Duke on Friday. He played only four minutes, scoring two points.

Brown has been staying in a dark room and "doesn't remember [the] game at all," according to Nichols.

Coach Bob Hoffman said Brown was resting in his hotel room and that he doesn't remember anything after making himself breakfast on Friday. The game tipped off just after noon.

The 11th-seeded Volunteers had two forwards with double-doubles in their win over UMass on Friday — Jarnell Stokes (26 points, 14 rebounds) and Jeronne Maymon (11 points, 11 rebounds).
