Florida State relief pitcher and reigning Heisman Trophy winning quarterback Jameis Winston was part of a benches-clearing brawl between the Seminoles and the University of Florida in Jacksonville on Tuesday night.

According to multiple accounts, including Deadspin, a brawl ensued when a Seminoles outfielder DJ Stewart ran into Florida pitcher Danny Young after Young tried to field Stewart's roller up the first-base line.

Gators first baseman Zack Powers then confronted Stewart, which led to both benches being cleared. Police had to come on to the field to help separate the players, including Winston who was seen being held back by police.

Powers, Young, and Stewart were ejected as a result of the brawl as Florida defeated the No. 1-ranked Seminoles 4-1.
