Detroit Red Wings forward Pavel Datsyuk said Thursday that he plans to be in the lineup for Friday's game against the Buffalo Sabres.

Datsyuk has not played since Feb. 27 because of inflammation in his right knee. This season, Datsyuk has only appeared in 39 games and has 15 goals and 18 assists.

The Red Wings have six games left in the regular season and currently hold the first wild-card spot in the Eastern Conference with 86 points, three points ahead of the Columbus Blue Jackets.
