The Chicago Bulls have announced the signing of Ronnie Brewer for the remainder of the regular season.

The swingman spent two seasons with the Bulls from 2010 to 2012 during which he averaged 6.5 points in 23 minutes per game.

Chicago's roster currently sits at 13 players as the team battles with the Toronto Raptors for the third seed in the Eastern Conference. The Bulls waived rookie Erik Murphy last week, who was then claimed off waivers by the Utah Jazz.

Brewer appeared in 23 games for the Houston Rockets earlier this season before being waived.
