Oregon junior wide receiver Bralon Addison tore the anterior cruciate ligament in his left knee and will likely miss the 2014 season, reports Aaron Fentress of CSNNW.com.

According to the report, Addison hurt his knee performing a non-contact drill during Wednesday's practice.

Last season, Addison was second on the team with 61 catches for 890 yards and seven touchdowns. With the departure of Josh Huff, Addison was the team's top returning receiver.

Addison is also a valuable punt returner, averaging 23.8 yards per return and scoring two touchdowns last season. Senior wideout Keanon Lowe would become the team's top returning wideout if Addison can not play this season.

More from CSNNW:

Leading candidates are sophomores Chance Allen and Dwayne Stanford, and junior B.J. Kelley. Redshirt freshman Devon Allen is also a candidate for playing time.

Addison will be a true junior next season, so he could redshirt and still have two years of eligibility remaining. But his loss for 2014 would certainly be a blow to the team's national title hopes.
