Two associates of former New England Patriots tight end Aaron Hernandez were indicted on murder charges in connection with the shooting death of a man, Bristol County prosecutors said Friday.

The grand jury in Bristol County returned separate indictments against Carlos Ortiz and Ernest Wallace in connection with the killing of Odin Lloyd last June. He was found less than a mile from Hernandez's home.

Ortiz and Wallace had been charged with accessory to murder after the fact. The district attorney's office said the two will be arraigned at a later date.
