Missouri head basketball coach Frank Haith has reached a verbal agreement to coach Tulsa, per multiple reports. Haith is traveling to Tulsa Thursday afternoon to finalize the deal. He will replace Danny Manning, who left to take the Wake Forest job earlier this month.

In three years coaching Missouri, Haith had a 77-29 record and made two NCAA tournament appearances, but he failed to win a tournament game despite earning a No. 2 seed in the 2012 contest. This season, the Tigers failed to make the tournament with a 24-12 record, thanks largely to a 9-9 conference mark.

Before his stint at Missouri, Haith compiled a 129-101 record in seven season at the University of Miami.
