Charlotte Bobcats forward Josh McRoberts has been fined $20,000 for his foul on LeBron James, the NBA announced Thursday. McRoberts will avoid suspension.

The foul came in the closing seconds of Game 2 of the first round series between the Heat and the Bobcats. With 55 seconds left in the game, James drove to his left from the top of the key. As he rose for a layup, McRoberts rotated from the other side of the lane and delivered an elbow just below James' chin. LeBron remained on the ground for several seconds following the play.
