Charlotte Bobcats center Al Jefferson is unlikely to play in Monday night's Game 4 against the Miami Heat, according to coach Steve Clifford.

Jefferson has suffered through plantar fasciitis since Game 1 of this series and told the Charlotte Observer's Rick Bonnell that the pain has been immense:

"This has been like stepping on nails. I wouldn't wish it on anybody."

The ten-year NBA veteran has put up one of the best seasons of his career, leading the Bobcats to the playoffs for only the second time in franchise history with 21.8 points and 10.8 rebounds per game.
