2014 Kentucky Derby odds: California Chrome the betting favorite at 2-1

Prior to last year's Kentucky Derby, Revolutionary was given the best odds to take first at Churchill Downs. Instead, it was Orb that took home first prize (while Revolutionary finished in third).

Whether the betting odds prove to be a better predictor of the winner this year remains to be seen. But like SI's Tim Layden, the latest odds show California Chrome as the favorite to claim first place in Saturday's race.
