It took all of about four days for new Cleveland Browns quarterback Johnny Manziel to have the NFL's top selling jersey.

Since the jersey went on sale Thursday night, when Manziel was drafted with the 22nd pick in the first round of the 2014 NFL Draft, the jersey has sold more than any other player's uniform since April 1, according to NFLShop.com, via ESPN.com.

Coming in second among rookies was Michael Sam, who is the first openly gay player to be drafted. His jersey has only been available since Saturday night.

According to the report, rounding out the top five rookie selling jerseys are: Houston Texans defensive end Jadeveon Clowney, who was the draft's No. 1 overall pick, Minnesota Vikings quarterback Teddy Bridgewater, and Jacksonville Jaguars quarterback Blake Bortles, who was taken with the No. 3 overall pick.

More from ESPN.com:

The league wouldn't say exactly how many Manziel jerseys were sold, but did say that the official website store sold nearly as many Manziel jerseys across draft weekend, from Thursday to Sunday, as they sold of Robert Griffin III, Andrew Luck and Tim Tebow jerseys during their draft weekends combined.

"We think this a sign of what we've been saying all along, that Michael's inclusion in the NFL is bringing fans into the game who weren't previously consumers of the NFL game," said his agent Cameron Weiss.
