Report: Tony Cingrani will start for Reds on Sunday after DL stint

Tony Cingrani will return to the Reds' rotation on Sunday in Philadelphia after a stint on the disabled list with right shoulder inflammation, according to C. Trent Rosecrans of the Cincinnati Enquirer.

The 24-year-old left-hander has been out since his April 30 start against the Cubs, when he lasted only four innings. Cingrani is 2-2 with a 3.34 ERA in six starts this season with 32 strikeouts in 32 1/3 innings.

Cingrani, who did not make any rehab starts, is 9-6 with a 2.98 ERA in 32 career appearances (24 starts).
