The half-brother of Falcons wide receiver Roddy White was killed early Saturday morning in a shooting at a nightclub in South Carolina. Authorities are still looking for suspects and a motive, David MacDougall of the Charleston Post and Courier reports.

Tyrone Moore Jr., 21, was shot outside the Lake House Club on James Island following a reported altercation, according to MacDougall. Charleston County police said witnesses reported several fired gunshots and Moore was struck.

Moore lived with White in Atlanta for a time, while attending Mill Creek High School near the Falcons' facility.

The Falcons confirmed the news of Moore's death in a press release, extending condolences to the family.

“We were all saddened to learn about the death of Roddy’s brother Tyrone. Roddy is part of our Falcons family, and families stand together in difficult circumstances,” Falcons owner Arthur Blank said in the release. “On behalf of the entire Falcons organization, we extend our deepest sympathies and prayers to Roddy, his mother Joenethia, and their entire family.”
