Wide receiver Josh Gordon is expected to join the Cleveland Browns for practice this week, while he awaits word from the league on a suspension for a failed drug test, according to Tom Withers of the Associated Press.

It was reported earlier this month that Gordon had failed a third drug test and would be suspended from the NFL for the entire 2014 season, but the league has yet to make any announcements regarding Gordon's punishment and the wide receiver has not spoken publicly about the situation.

Gordon missed two games last season after a positive drug test, reportedly for marijuana, but was still able to lead the team in receptions, total yards and touchdowns. He also led the league in receiving yards.
