Minnesota Timberwolves owner Glen Taylor says the team will not be trading star power forward Kevin Love before the draft, according to the Minneapolis Star Tribune's Jerry Zgoda.

It has been reported that Love's representatives told the team the All-Star has no intention of signing an extension with the team and will leave to free agency next summer if he is not traded. The Los Angeles Lakers, New York Knicks and Chicago Bulls are just some of the teams believed to be possible landing spots for Love.

Taylor spoke with the Star Tribune at the Minnesota Lynx home opener, and said the Timberwolves are still hopeful they can improve next season and convince Love, who has spent six seasons in Minnesota, to stay.
