The Pacers have "increasing confidence" that swingman Paul George will pass league-mandated concussion tests and play in Game 3, according to a tweet from Adrian Wojnarowski of Yahoo! Sports.

The news is a slight improvement from earlier in the day on Thursday during the team's shootaround when head coach Frank Vogel said he had "no clue" if George would be ready on Saturday.

George suffered the concussion in the team's Game 2 loss to the Heat on Tuesday. The incident occurred midway through the fourth quarter with the Pacers up four, during a scramble on the floor for the ball after George attempted to steal the possession from Dwyane Wade.

He told reporters that he had "blacked out" after the play and it was ruled by the team's medical staff that he had in fact suffered a concussion.

Game 3 of the Eastern Conference finals is Saturday night in Miami. The series is currently tied 1-1.
