Minnesota Timberwolves forward Kevin Love visited Boston this weekend, amid rumblings the Boston Celtics could be a potential trade partner for Love with the Timberwolves.

The Boston Globe's Gary Washburn reported seeing Love hanging out in bars near the TD Garden and taking a picture with the owner of "The Greatest Bar." He was also seen "fraternizing with Patriots players," according to the report.

For the most part, Love declined comment when approached by Washburn this weekend.

“I’m sorry man, I can’t do nothing [in terms of talking], I can’t," he said.

Timberwolves president of basketball operations Flip Saunders said Sunday he expects Love to be with the team next season. But recently, the team has signaled a willingness to engage in trade talks, since Love is set to hit the free-agent market after next season and has signaled he will explore his options.

Love can opt out of his contract after next season. In six seasons with the Timberwolves, he has yet to make it to the postseason. He was also reportedly miffed by former executive David Kahn's refusal to give him a full, five-year extension, instead giving him his current deal in which he could opt out after three years.

According to an ESPN.com report in mid-May, the Golden State Warriors and Chicago Bulls were among the potential trade destinations that "intrigued love."
