Heat forward-center Chris "Birdman" Andersen was again held out of practice on Tuesday but did travel to San Antonio to get ready for Game 1 of the NBA Finals on Thursday night, according to a tweet from the team.

Andersen has been dealing with a left thigh contusion suffered early on in the series against the Pacers in the Eastern Conference finals. The 35-year-old big man played just 12 minutes in the Heat's series-clinching win over Indiana on May 30. In his absence, Heat head coach Erik Spoelstra has been employing a small lineup at times with Rashard Lewis at the four spot.

The Heat and Spurs split the regular season series 1-1.
