Rangers second baseman Jurickson Profar doesn't expect to play again this season, according to Jeff Wilson of the Fort Worth Star Telegram.

Less than two weeks ago, the 21-year-old former top prospect was ruled out another 8-12 weeks after tweaking his right shoulder, which he was already rehabbing after tearing a muscle in spring training. He reportedly reinjured it while rolling over in bed and was diagnosed with a Grade 2 strain.

Profar, part of a rare club after hitting a home run in his first major league at-bat, hit .234 with six home runs and 26 RBI and recorded a .644 OPS in 286 at-bats in the majors last season.

The Rangers are currently 29-28 and sit in fourth place in the AL West, ahead of the Houston Astros.
