Boston Herald NBA beat reporter Steve Bulpett tweeted late Wednesday night an interesting potential trade.  The Denver Nuggets reportedly made an offer to the Minnesota Timberwolves for franchise forward Kevin Love, who is set to test the free agent market in 2015 if the Wolves don't trade him before or surround him with the kind of talent that he feels is worth staying to contend for a championship.

As Bulpett reports, the Nuggets would give up forward Kenneth Faried and swingman Wilson Chandler for Love, and would also give Minnesota another player Denver apparently plans on acquiring in a potential three-team deal, perhaps guard-forward Arron Afflalo from the Orlando Magic.

Love, who turns 26 before next season, is set to make $15.7 million next season before he can test free agency. Chandler will make $6.7 million next season and then the Nuggets have a team option for $7.1 million the following year; Faried is below market value at just $2.3 million next season and then has a qualifying offer for $3.4 million in 2015. The Magic owe Afflalo $7.5 million next year and then he has a player option for $7.7 million in 2015.

In his six seasons, Love and the Wolves have gone 153-323. Last season, the three-time All-Star averaged 26.1 points and 12.5 rebounds per game.
