Chivas de Guadalajara is ready to bring home unsettled PSV Einhdhoven defender Carlos Salcido, according to Esto.

The versatile Mexican is eager to leave the Dutch giants as soon as possible following his problems with manager Huub Stevens and the Mexican daily reports Chivas is interested in bringing the international back to the Americas in the upcoming transfer period.

However, Chivas is only willing to take Salcido on loan for six months due to a lack of financial resources and it remains to be seen if PSV is interested in letting go of its defender on a temporary basis.

Salcido also reportedly has attracted the interest of Villarreal, but the Spanish side doesn't want to sign him in January because he already played in the Champions League with PSV this season.

Therefore, PSV might opt to farm the 28-year-old out on loan to Chivas before offloading him in the summer.
